At 6:30 pm on Saturday, October 13 at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place, 1775 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth,  Rainbow Village is hosting its annual fundraising Gala - A Masquerade: Changing the Face of Homelessness.  The mission of Rainbow Village is to provide homeless families in domestic and/or economic crisis a healing environment to rebuild their lives through a community-based transitional housing program that promotes self-sufficiency. » click to read more (PDF)

NORCROSS, GA, August 12, 2007 -- Rainbow Village is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Gwinnett County. The mission of Rainbow Village is to provide families in domestic or economic crisis a healing environment to rebuild their lives through a community-based transitional housing program.
"Rainbow Village is not an emergency housing provider," said Deborah Pelham, Resource Development Director for Rainbow Village. "We are the next step. Families who apply for our program are ready to take the initiative and be accountable for their own future. We require that families own a car and have a job. While in our program families are required to save money for their future housing needs. Typically families are in our program for a year and up to two years." » click to read more (PDF)
